The room was not horrible, very small room, furniture was well used and had scratches and did not match the set.
Well check in process was pretty smooth, the actual scenario of the pool and motel look of Oasis was not bad.
Reviews were a little spotty but everyplace in Vegas is so we figured worst case scenario we get there and just check out and go someplace else. My Girlfriend and I did a spare of the moment week long vacation to las Vegas and saw this place on the TripAdvisor plus site for an excellent deal for a week for just under $900. STRONGLY I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE More Show less For anything you need they make everything easy for you, they remember your room number an friendly call you by name. At the Oasis Hotel at the Gold Spike they are more then nice a professional, they treat you like you are part of the family, they text you almost daily for make sure you are ok, or if you need anything, they really want make sure you are happy and comfortable during the stay with them. The time here never pass, you feel in the old Time, like Vegas use to be. That make me happy because I come in Vegas often and usually I spend a couple weeks at the time and Oasis is the best choice because is affordable, big rooms, comfortable, convenient located in the heart of the magic Downtown, which is the most beautiful part of Las Vegas. Oasis Hotel at the Gold Spike is finally back to business. I saw It change the makeup to many times, as resident and professional, since I was restaurant manager at the Venetian, but let me tell you the hospitality of the professional in this industry in Downtown Las Vegas never changed. I live in San Diego, but I spent 20 years in this incredible city, since 1999.
